Nyoi-Bo Studio Three days later, at the Imperial Capital International Airport...
Ye Zhizhou, dressed in a flamboyant yet hip suit, followed the crowd slowly out of the airport.
A pair of black headphones was hanging around his neck.
The white skulls on both sides of the headphones were particularly eye-catching.
He was wearing a baseball cap. He lowered the brim of his cap to cover most of his face.
“Hello. May I ask where you’re going?”
Ye Zhizhou didn’t want to talk to a stranger, so he reached out and handed the address to the taxi driver.
The taxi driver looked at the address and said with a smile, “Please fasten your seat belt. We’re leaving.”
Sitting in the car, Ye Zhizhou looked at the scenery outside the window.
He was no stranger to the Imperial Capital.
At least, it was not as strange as he thought.
He had been studying the relevant information of the Imperial Capital over the years.
Even then, simply learning about it wasn’t the same as seeing the city for himself.
Ye Zhizhou had a natural affinity to the city after coming out of the airport.
The taxi couldn’t get into the neighborhood, so the driver dropped Ye Zhizhou off at the gate.
Ye Zhizhou took some money and handed it to the taxi driver before he strolled into the neighborhood.
“Sir, you can’t go in.”
Ye Zhizhou looked at the security guard in front of him and said, “I am a resident of Villa No. 1.”
“Please wait a moment. I will contact Villa No. 1.”
Ten minutes later, Ye Zhizhou stood in front of Villa No. 1.
Ye Qingkong was stunned as soon as she saw Ye Zhizhou. She didn’t expect to meet Ye Zhizhou here, especially when he was dressed like a sunny young boy.
“What happened to your face?”
Ye Zhizhou saw the faint wound on Ye Qingkong’s face at a glance.
It was as if someone had vandalized a perfect work of art.
“Gu Yancheng did it.”
Ye Qingkong was also very surprised at the wound on her face when she looked in the mirror.
She had thought that the wound would gradually heal on its own, but she didn’t expect the scar to still be there.
Ye Zhizhou asked, “Did you mess with him?”
When she heard Ye Zhizhou’s voice, Ye Qingkong nodded reluctantly.
“What happened?”
Ye Qingkong had no choice but to recount what happened in the private room that day. Ye Zhizhou walked into the living room silently as soon as she finished speaking.
Ye Qingkong was uneasy.
She walked into the living room when Ye Zhizhou grabbed her hair fiercely and pressed her face against the wallpaper’s complicated patterns.
She could sense a strong murderous intent growing around her.
Ye Zhizhou asked, “Have you forgotten what I said?”
Ye Qingkong’s eyes were wide open in horror, and tears trickled down her eyelids. She replied, “No, I didn’t forget. I just couldn’t help it.”
For a second, Ye Qingkong was terrified.
She knew what Ye Zhizhou was capable of.
His methods were dreadful.
Ye Zhizhou sneered, “Are you jealous because Ye Tianxin has lived a better life than you? Chunxue, don’t forget that you’re just my pawn. You’ve always been one since the day you followed me. You know what happens when one of my pawns disobeys me.”
Ye Qingkong nodded.
She knew that disobeying him would lead to death.
“Good. If you forget, I can remind you again.”
Ye Zhizhou let go of his hands and sat on the sofa casually.
Ye Qingkong only felt that the unseen pressure that oppressed her disappeared.
“Make an appointment with Mingzhu. I want to see her.”
