Shi Han called the bodyguard right away after he heard what Zeus said.
The bodyguard replied to Shi Han that Xie Yi had fainted and was sent to the hospital.
“Zeus, tell Jessica to get a flight ticket and come right away, hurry!”
Suddenly, Shi Han had a bad feeling about this.
He was too optimistic about it. How could it be so easy for Xie Xuning to agree to be with Xie Yi together?
If it were that easy for Xie Xuning to accept Xie Y, he would’ve not kept his integrity for so long.
“Zeus, something wrong happened to Xie Yi.”
Zeus hung up the phone. A hint of concern sat on his cold and furrowed eyebrows.
He and Shi Han discussed what to give to Xie Yi as a wedding gift on the plane.
Now, this incident happened to Xie Yi.
“Let’s go.”
Shi Han and Zeus got into the car parked at the airport.
Jessica started to dial on the cellphone after confirming with the other side that it was not a kidnapping.
“Assistant Mo, I am going to send you a list now. You may prepare the medicines according to the list. I am going to fly over as soon as possible. You must make sure that Xie Yi is by herself! Do you understand?”
“I understand.”
Mo Shi looked at Qie Wang and Xie Xuning. “Can both of you leave? I will keep an eye on Dr. Xie.”
“I am not leaving.”
There was no way for Xie Xuning to leave.
He wanted to stay with her.
It created a problematic situation for Mo Shi. She looked at Xie Xuning and tried to persuade him patiently, “Mr. Xie, if you do not leave, Dr. Xie can not get a good rest. Besides, I suggest that Director Qie explains to Mr. Xie the definition of post-traumatic stress disorder.”
“Xuning, Assistant Mo is right; there is no use for you to stay here. What is most urgent now is for Tianxin and the old lady to come so that we can conduct a paternity test.”
Qie Wang was more excited than Xie Xuning, especially when he thought about Xie Yi being Ye Linlang. It meant that heaven had been protecting them.
“No! There is no need to do a paternity test.”
Xie Xuning was positive that it was exclusively Ye Linlang’s heart-shaped birthmark.
No paternity test could be more accurate than his eyes.
How could he be so stupid?
She was right there in front of him, but he could not recognize her.
Her eyes that appeared in the video, the silhouette of her back in front of the information desk, and her figure under the plum tree in winder...
All these images made him wonder if she was Ye Linlang, but he did not believe it was her.
Xie Yi did not resemble Ye Linlang at all.
This all seemed to be a misunderstanding.
He never thought that Ye Linlang had gotten plastic surgery.
Nobody would’ve thought that the car accident would have had such an impact on Ye Linlang.
“Xuning, that’s fine. Let us not do the paternity test, but shouldn’t you inform the old lady and Tianxin about this? Furthermore, don’t you want to know what happened to Linlang? I think you should learn the facts about post-traumatic stress disorder.”
Post-traumatic stress disorder refers to an individual who experienced, witnessed, or encountered one or more actual deaths involving himself or others, was threatened with death. The person could also be seriously injured or have parts of the body be damaged, which caused a delayed and continuous mental disorder.
These were only descriptive writings on paper. In actuarial clinical practice, each patient reacted differently depending on their individual needs.
Ye Linlang’s condition was one of the cases.
