Home Girl Urban romance SECRET MARRIAGE: REBORN AS A BEAUTIFUL MODEL STUDENT

Chapter 406: You Could Charm the Pants Off Me (1)   “Yes, Sir!”

Ye Tianxin bowed earnestly.

Li Qingcang’s smile deepened as he said, “Hurry and change out of your clothes.”

Thanks to Wu Tong’s keen sense of fashion, all the clothes purchased for Ye Tianxin looked cute and feminine. She bought a thin baby pink sweater that looked exceptionally adorable, a pair of ripped jeans, and white sneakers.

“Elder Brother Li, how do I look?”

Ye Tianxin strutted over to him after she had changed. As she twirled, her long locks were tossed up in a nice parabola.

“You look great.”

As Ye Tianxin was young and angelic, she naturally exuded a sense of youthful vigor.

The baby pink sweater complemented her fair, smooth jade-like skin, and made her look even livelier and prettier.

“Elder Brother Li, why don’t we wear matching outfits?”

Ye Tianxin requested as she handed a paper bag over to Li Qingcang.

Li Qingcang stared at the paper bag in his hands and, instead of turning down her request, made his way straight into the washroom and changed into a cartoon hoodie and ripped jeans that were identical to Ye Tianxin’s.

Pink-colored outfits would appear unflattering on some men.

But Li Qingcang was an exception. The pink tones merely balanced out his rugged aura and made him seem like a hipster.

‘As expected, a good-looking person would look good in anything,’ Ye Tianxin mused.

“Elder Brother Li, you look absolutely charming,” she complimented.

Li Qingcang cleared his throat. This was his first time trying on pink clothes and felt rather uneasy.

He never expected Wu Tong to buy him a top like this.

“To what extent?” he pressed on.

All of a sudden, a particular analogy popped up in Ye Tianxin’s mind, and she blurted out, “You could charm the pants off me.”

“You’re the most handsome man in the world,” Ye Tianxin praised as she held her thumb up in approval.

Li Qingcang’s smile widened as he said, “My dear sweetheart, wear your sunglasses properly.”

The couple then slipped out of the ward. Jing Zhichen and Qie Wenyang, who were on the top floor, spotted the couple, and their expressions changed.

“Brother is really horsing around. He’s clearly aware of the fact that Tianxin is a patient, and yet he still instigates her to sneak out of the hospital with him. What nonsense is this?” Jing Zhichen fumed.

Qie Wenyang simply patted his shoulder sympathetically and consoled, “Brother Chen, you have to understand that the average man simply doesn’t have the power to contain a fire in an old house.”

“Scram!”

‘What the hell do I have to understand?’ Jing Zhichen thought grudgingly.

He intended to play the role of the evil uncle who would break up their relationship.

Jing Zhichen was already itching to start.

Qie Wenyang settled down at his office desk and reached out his hands to graze his lips. ‘It feels so lovely to kiss someone,’ he mused.

‘It’s so wonderful to date someone and fall in love,’ he thought.

Qie Wenyang, too, wanted to fall in love and start a relationship with someone.

‘But spring’s obviously over. In fact, it’s already autumn... Do humans experience such a feeling in autumn too?’ he ruminated.

“Yangzi, is Tianxin alright?”

Qie Wenyang replied, “She’s fine. She’s merely shaken. Don’t worry, Li knows what to do. He wouldn’t go overboard with his actions.”

Frustration was building up in Jing Zhichen’s chest.

He felt strongly compelled to vent it out.

‘I want to go for a joyride!

‘I want to scream!

‘I want to fight someone...,’ he deliberated.

...

During military drills, the other new cadets, too, became aware of the fact that there would be a change in the military training instructor.

Ye Tianxin and Liu Xu’s roommates also spread the word about everything that had happened in their dormitory last night.

The story was that Liu Xu started the fight by splashing Ye Tianxin with water and Ye Tianxin bashed her up after that.

Rumor spread quickly like wildfire.

Yan Ge became the new military training instructor, and none of the new cadets expected him to be even stricter than Li Qingcang.
