God Q, Hello
Qiao Nian left after lunch.
Rhine Apartments was pretty quiet today.
Ye Wangchuan wasn’t at home, and neither was Gu San.
The two of them weren’t at home, and Qin Si and the others didn’t come over either. No one was chattering by her ear. Qiao Nian was happy to be free.
She opened the refrigerator door, grabbed a bottle of mineral water, and headed up to the second floor.
The second-floor room was pleasantly sunny, and the brilliant sun shone through the French windows onto the floor, giving it a golden sheen.
After Qiao Nian returned to her room, she took a shower and changed into a fresh set of home clothes. Then, she pulled out a chair from the desk and sat cross-legged on it before turning on her laptop.
The computer booted up instantly.
She was in no hurry.
She unscrewed the water beside the table, loosened the cap on the bottle, and logged into QQ unhurriedly.
She rarely used QQ and usually hung it on her phone.
A notice popped up when someone at QQ sent a new message.
After she logged into QQ, about three minutes later, sure enough, a verification message flashed.
Qiao Nian took a sip of water and set it aside. With one hand, she clicked on the small loudspeaker in the corner of the computer.
In the verification message column, the other party obediently filled in the verification words—”Hello, God Q.”
“Tsk!”
Qiao Nian’s slender fingers tapped twice on the mouse. Her bright eyes narrowed lazily as she looked at the other party’s request.
[Hello, God Q. I’m one of your students introduced by Dean Zhong. My name is Robert.]
Qiao Nian had heard this name before.
The famous Chief Luo of the Pharmacy Association, Dean Zhong’s pride.
The other party’s status in the Pharmacy Association was quite high. At the very least, it was not something that a new student like Jiang Xianrou could compare to.
But she had long since left the Pharmacy Association and had no interest in such things.
Qiao Nian’s dark eyelashes covered her bright eyes as her fair fingers tapped on the keyboard.
[You have something to ask me?]
After Qiao Nian sent the message, there was no reply for the time being. The other party was probably busy with something and couldn’t look at his phone immediately.
She was in no hurry. After sitting at the computer desk and playing a little game, the QQ message popped up.
It wasn’t a message from Robert.
It was Wen Ruxia, who had not appeared for a long time.
Qiao Nian switched off the game and leaned back in her chair. Her arm hung in the air as she opened Wen Ruxia’s message.
[Nian Nian, do you remember what you promised me?]
Qiao Nian was stunned for a few seconds.
Wen Ruxia sent another message.
[You promised me that you’d help with an MV. The director is already here. When are you free tomorrow?]
Ah, that MV.
Only then did Qiao Nian remember her promise. She immediately felt a headache coming on.
Tomorrow?
She had promised Lu Zhi that she would send him off tomorrow.
Time had collided.
Qiao Nian was thinking about how to balance things out when Robert sent her a message.
Her QQ notification beeped twice.
Qiao Nian supported her hand and waited to see what he had to say.
After clicking on it—
[Well, I found the notes you left in the library. There are a few things I don’t quite understand, God Q. Are you free tomorrow? The dean also instructed me to give them to you.]
Tomorrow again!
Qiao Nian suspected that they had all arranged to meet in private tomorrow.
It was impossible for her to attend three appointments at the same time tomorrow.
Thinking she wasn’t online, Wen Ruxia sent another emoticon. “Are you there?” flashed above the head of a chipmunk.
