Big Boss, Someone Is Tracking Me
In a hotel suite in Beijing.
Qi Yan paced around the suite until the doorbell rang. Her tightly furrowed brows relaxed slightly, and her tense expression relaxed slightly. She quickly walked over and opened the door.
A scruffy foreigner was standing outside the door. The man was in his late 20s and looked very young. His features were not bad and his height was obvious.
However, he really didn’t like to tidy himself up. He was unshaven and exuded a sloppy sense of decadence.
It didn’t leave a good impression. It was too gloomy.
Wasn’t that Mas whom Qiao Nian had met in Rao City?
When Qi Yan saw him, she was like a drowning person grabbing onto a life-saving straw. She immediately pulled him in and said anxiously, “You’re finally here! Quick, help me find out Lanyin’s location. I asked the technical department of the corporation to investigate for a long time, but they didn’t find anything.”
Mas walked in with a computer in his right hand and sneered. He said in a disdainful tone, “The people from the technical department of the Hengfeng Corporation are trash!”
Qi Yan was a little embarrassed by his words, but she couldn’t say anything since she was asking him a favor.
She closed the door silently and followed the man into the living room.
She told the man about Qi Lanyin’s situation in a hurry. “Lanyin has been missing for half a day. We’ve used all the methods we can think of. We only found the last place she was seen. We sent people to look around the place, but they saw no one.”
“It’s normal that you can’t find her. Her phone’s GPS has already been blocked.” Mas seemed used to this kind of thing and wasn’t surprised.
He walked over to the living-room sofa, sat down, and took the computer out of his handbag. The black computer was heavy and looked different from any other computer Qi Yan saw before.
He said simply, “Give me her phone number.”
Qi Yan found a pen and paper and wrote a string of numbers.
Mas did not waste any time. He focused on the computer and opened the tracking system he had made himself. Then, he entered Qi Lanyin’s phone number.
Qi Yan saw the code numbers jumping on his screen. She finally felt safe when she saw the green numbers refreshing.
…
Meanwhile, on the other side.
Qiao Nian had just taken a cold shower and had yet to wipe the water droplets off her hair. She walked to the desk and casually opened her laptop.
The phone sat beside her, charging.
Then, the screen lit up.
The girl propped her legs up and leaned against the edge of the desk in an irregular posture.
Her features relaxed. Slowly, she grabbed the phone, clicked it open, and read the message.
Guan Yan: [Damn, someone is tracking me!]
Qiao Nian raised her eyebrows.
She hit the boot button on her laptop with one hand. It booted up instantly and connected to Guan Yan’s computer.
As expected, Qiao Nian entered a few codes and saw a very aggressive trojan horse program trying to locate Guan Yan’s IP address.
“Heh, interesting.” Qiao Nian threw the towel aside and pulled out a chair to sit down. She propped her arm on the desk and sat down, looking very much like a big shot.
A strand of her black bangs hung down and covered her brow, but it couldn’t hide its sharp color.
Qiao Nian’s hand speed was fast. One could almost only see the shadows of her fair fingers tapping on the keyboard. Countermeasure codes poured out from her fingers one after another. She seemed to be able to type out these codes without even thinking.
In less than 20 minutes, Qiao Nian hit Enter and leaned back on the chair. She narrowed her eyes and lazily looked at the database that had begun to automatically generate on her computer…
