These guys from India were truly down on their luck. There were so many women in Mumbai and they chose the deadliest of them all.
This was the first time that Lu Yan had ever run into a group of perverts like these.
She had heard stories about the disgusting behavior of the men in the country before; they would molest girls on public transit, reaching the depth of depravity. Since they had picked her, it was the perfect chance to teach them a lesson.
Plus, up against these street thugs, she didn’t even need a gun.
Lu Yan dropped her shopping bag on the ground and rubbed her palms together.
Although her actions startled the men, they were still larger in number so they decided to attack her without a second thought.
Lu Yan was annoyed by the silk scarf that was hindering her line of sight. She pulled it off in one go, revealing her beautiful face. At the sight of her beauty, the men were even more excited to attack. Like a lightning bolt, Lu Yan kicked down one of the men. Using his body as a springboard, she jumped into the air and strangled the man’s head with her legs. With a quick twist, she snapped his neck in an instant, her explosive energy apparent as could be.
The two men unleashed murderous cries. The two others rushed forward, trembling. Lu Yan grabbed one of the men’s heads and kneed him in his groin.
He was in so much pain he couldn’t believe it. The last one was even easier.
Lu Yan extended the silk scarf and circled it twice around the man’s neck before pulling it tight.
"Ah..." The man lost his breathing before he could scream.
When Lu Yan struck, she never missed. They were all dead for sure.
Finishing four people in a couple of seconds, this was Lu Yan, a legend amongst mercenaries.
Looking at the four bodies on the ground, Lu Yan took out a napkin and wiped her hands. She then grabbed the plastic bags from the floor and walked forward.
As fugitives, she and Qiao Fei had to rent a private place. Although humble in size; only about 1000 square feet, the apartment was very luxurious.
They were on the third floor of a residential building. When she returned, she could sense that something was off.
Her steps quickened as she made her way up the stairs. When she arrived, she discovered that the door was open and... there was blood on the entrance.
Her stomach dropped. She immediately drew her gun to her sleeve openings and dashed in deftly.
Sure enough, there were two unfamiliar bodies in the room, one male and one female.
"Qiao Fei..." Lu Yan screamed out in panic; she was truly afraid to find him hurt.
"Psycho Qiao, show yourself!" Lu Yan’s voice began to tremble.
Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared from the kitchen, his hand holding a can of beer.
"I’m here, what’s up?"
"Are you alright?" Lu Yan rushed toward him, concerned.
"I’m fine."
"Then they..." She pointed at the dead bodies on the ground, not knowing how to ask the question.
"Them? A piece of cake... I took care of them. I knew you were coming back so I went to the kitchen to boil water. Didn’t you say you wanted to cook noodles for me? Oh, right, where are the noodles?"
"Shit! You scared the crap out of me!" Lu Yan roared. She threw the food in her hands at Qiao Fei, completely livid.
"I’m totally fine, right? Don’t worry." Qiao Fei comforted her.
"Don’t flatter yourself. Who would worry about you? I’d be happy if you died... It’ll save me money for food and rent." Lu Yan refused to show that she cared.
"Our Yan seems very mad... What, did you get mugged earlier?" Qiao Fei asked.
"How did you know?" Lu Yan turned around, curious.
"Your murderous aura was obvious when you returned. How could I not know?" Qiao Fei stood at the door, watching Lu Yan with his head tilted to the side.
"This place... isn’t safe anymore. We must leave here as soon as possible." Lu Yan looked at the unsettling sight of the dead assassins on the ground.
"Where should we go? What do you have in mind?"
"Psycho Qian... what do you think? Should we go find my older sister or my dad?" Lu Yan asked Qiao Fei with sincerity.
