Home Girl Urban romance THE BIGSHOT SHOCKS THE WORLD WHEN SHE BACKS HOME

His Most Powerful Attack

Vice-President Tang began approaching Yao Tang, his laser focus directed solely at her.

Elder Wang was quick to notice the shift in their enemy’s attention. He immediately realized Vice-President Tang’s intentions.

He was going to deal with Yao Tang himself!

“You shameless man!” Elder Wang cried out. “And you call yourself a leader? What are you planning to do with my disciple? If you want to fight, then pick someone at your level and come at us!”

As soon as he finished speaking, he mustered all of his spiritual power and launched an attack on Vice-President Tang.

It was Elder Wang’s signature killer move. The massive energy he released was so potent that the air thrummed with it, and Vice-President feared that his shielding device might be completely destroyed.

He couldn’t let that happen, or the consequences would be terrible.

And so, Vice-President Tang used his own spiritual energy to control his men and used them to create a human shield.

The poor subordinates realized too late that they couldn’t move against the force that was controlling them.

Before they knew what was happening, they were tossed into the front lines to meet Elder Wang’s fatal attack.

Boom!

After experiencing a sharp pain that coursed through their bodies, the men dropped to the ground like flies.

Feeling that their lives were slowly slipping away, Vice-President Tang abandoned them without a second’s hesitation.

They had bought him enough time.

He walked steadily toward Yao Tang.

When he was about five meters away from her, he harnessed his own fatal blow and launched it at her with all his might.

It traveled through space at an alarming speed, and it was upon Yao Tang in the blink of an eye.

Vice-President Tang’s lips curled into a smile as he waited for his attack to consume her.

A second ticked by, then another…

Yao Tang was still standing in the same spot, not a hair out of place. She was still leisurely brandishing her wooden staff as she stood guard in front of Elder Chen.

As for Elder Chen, he remained unconscious on the stretcher.

“What the hell is this? Impossible!”

Vice-President Tang muttered vehemently to himself.

He had used all of his power in that attack, hoping that it would finally subdue Yao Tang.

But it was as if he had not attacked at all.

She didn’t even flinch!

At this point, he was tempted to question his sanity.

Vice-President Tang was still trying to wrap his head around this development when he suddenly felt a wave of spiritual energy coming from Yao Tang’s direction.

He recognized it as the attack that he had launched just now.

However, the force it carried was twice as strong as the one he had released.

Why was that?

He knew that it was his attack, but not only had it multiplied in strength, but it was also heading toward him.

As confused as he was, Vice-President Tang still had the presence of mind to gather his remaining spiritual energy and use the shielding device to protect himself.

He couldn’t help but let out a sharp, lingering hiss as the attack hit him.

His entire body was in pain, and he felt as though his abdomen had been scorched by a raging fire.

All the color drained from his face, and his knees buckled beneath him.

What was happening?

But no one answered him, as he wasn’t even able to utter the words out loud. Vice-President Tang struggled to hold himself up and not fall to the ground like his subordinates from earlier.

Seeing that their leader was injured, the other members of the Green Cloud Pavilion paused in their assault.

Meanwhile, the people from the Cabinet had long since lost the will to fight back, as they were desperate in trying to deflect the enemy’s attacks.

The entire time, the Cabinet Elders were wrought with worry. They dreaded the possibility that they would find Yao Tang bloodied and lifeless at the end of the battle.

To their surprise, it was Vice-President Tang who appeared to be experiencing the fate that they had feared for Yao Tang.

They turned to her in unison, and found her in one piece. If anything, her face seemed to be ruddy and glowing.

They heaved a collective sigh of relief, glad that she was unharmed.

As for Vice-President Tang, he was still lucid enough to know that something was not right in this situation, aside of course from his terrible predicament.

Was Yao Tang really a new recruit? How could she possess such tremendous spiritual strength? He had felt it for a moment back there, how the energy had left her body before she redirected his attack.

It was unlike anything he had ever heard of before.

Could it be that Yao Tang was a genius from one of those reclusive clans? They were the only ones capable of such a feat.

Perhaps the Cabinet had found her and intentionally used her to deal with the Green Cloud Pavilion.

That would explain why they released the news about Yao Tang. They used her as bait!
